Nexxus Aloe Rid Detox Shampoo Review For Drug Test

Introduction

Aloe Rid Gentle Clarifying Shampoo is a popular hair detox product from Nexxus.  It is an example of a prominent detox shampoo in the weed detoxing community.  Many users have employed Nexxus Aloe Rid in an effort to beat a hair follicle drug test.  You might need to detox if you’ve been given a test for legal reasons or by a prospective employer for example.  You should be aware that it is against the law in some U.S. states to detox in an attempt to pass a drug test.  So make sure to do your research before delving into a detox regimen such as with Nexxus Aloe Rid.  It’s important that you find the right product for you.  Those who smoke more often and in higher quantities and those with a higher body mass will need a stronger product for example.

Ingredients

One of the most important ingredients is propylene glycol.  It is reportedly able to break open hair cuticles and thus plays a major role in possibly detoxing hair effectively, allowing drug residues and any other toxins to be flushed out of your hair.

How to Use Nexxus Aloe Rid

Conventional Approach

You can use Nexxus Aloe Rid ingredients either as part of a conventional method or with the Macujo method which we will look at more in the next subsection. The conventional approach is as follows;

  1. Avoid any drugs which may be tested for once you know that you’ve got a hair test coming up.
  2. Wash your hair up to as much as four times a day in the 10 days leading up to the test, or however long you’ve got until the day of the test.
  3. Hopefully, this will flush toxins from your hair. Next, go and take the test.

The Macujo Method

This is a popular but risky method that has gained popularity online.  However, the Macujo method or Maccujo method has worked for many weed users and it may work in just one day.  The purpose of this approach is ultimately to cause damage to your hair so as to open up the hair shafts and to help remove drug metabolites allowing them to be flushed from your hair.  You should be aware that this method can definitely cause harm to your hair and/or scalp.  Only use this method if you consider it worth the risk, that you can abort if necessary, and that you’ve got the appropriate medical aid ready if any problems arise.  The reason it’s worth considering is that many users swear by this method.  Still, you need to be conscious of what you’re getting into.  This method isn’t a walk in the park.

  7. Use Zydot to wash your hair further.

Terms of Product Use

Nexxus does not sell Aloe Rid anymore therefore their returns policy is not applicable.  Instead, the policy of the store you purchase from will apply such as that of eBay, Walmart, and online beauty store sites.  However, it should be noted that Nexxus did not design Aloe Rid nor have promoted it for reasons of beating a hair test or for weed detox.  In practice of course many users employ Nexxus Aloe Rid for this very purpose.

When to Use & When Not to Use

It will generally be perfectly safe to use Nexxus Aloe Rid for THC Detox when used alone as a normal shampoo.  Using the Macujo Method can be riskier and shouldn’t be done by anyone under 18 or pregnant or nursing.  However, there are cases where you should avoid this product. For example, avoid Aloe Rid if you’re pregnant or under 18.  Also, check for any allergens in the ingredients list.  If you experience any side effects, halt your use of Aloe Rid immediately and visit your local practitioner.

Add Ons

Nexxus produces a wide range of hair treatment products including additional detox shampoos. However, they do not manufacture products that could detox your urine, blood, or saliva.

To Pass a Hair Follicle Test

Another hair detox product from Nexxus which they are still producing and selling directly on their website is Nexxus Clean & Pure Nourishing Detox Shampoo. It contains no dyes, parabens or silicones and its essential ingredients are designed to purify and revive hair.  However, this product is not famous within the cannabis detox community, thus it is impossible to say how effective it is for detoxing ahead of a hair drug test.  It might be worth trying although there is little evidence one way or another as to its ability to flush drugs from the hair based on our research.

Another popular hair detox product albeit not from Nexxus is Zydot Ultra Clean Shampoo.  You should purchase this product with Aloe Rid if you’re going to be using the Macujo method.  The two go hand-in-hand.  You can buy this product for around 15 bucks.  Like Aloe Rid, it can break open the hair shaft, so that you can flush out toxins such as THC and its metabolites.  This is our top choice for effective detox shampoo.

To Pass a Urine Drug Test

While Nexxus does not sell any urine detox products, there are plenty on the market that you should consider.  Some of the best products for beating a urine drug test or urinalysis are Toxin Rid, Mega Clean, Stinger Detox, Rescue Cleanse, Xxtra Clean, and Qcarbo Plus.  Toxin Rid is a collection of pills that can be employed for detoxification.  Reportedly, it can cleanse urine, saliva, and blood. Toxin Rid is available in several different pill regimens including a 1, 3, and 10-day plan. Toxin Rid is an attempt at actual detox.  To dilute urine for a drug test, which is more effective, use one of the other products listed above.

To Pass a Saliva Test

To beat a saliva test, you should consider products like Stinger Detox Mouthwash.  It is a popular choice among weed users who detox prior to tests.  It lacks harmful ingredients and is generally safe to use although it is pretty expensive for a 2-ounce drink.  Other mouthwash products you might use to detox are Ultra Klean Mouthwash and High Voltage Saliva Cleanse.

Conclusion

Our rating: 4 stars out of 5, B

It seems that this product is a good choice for getting the results that you want on a hair follicle drug test.  While this may be the case, it’s also possible that users are fooling themselves about the ability of Nexxus Aloe Rid to pass drug a test, having confused it with the original Toxin Rid with Aloe Shampoo.  You may also pass a test simply because you haven’t smoked much or because you’ve employed the Macujo method and it may not have mattered what shampoo you used.  On the other hand, there are many positive Nexxus Aloe Rid reviews across the web regarding the use of this product for a THC detox.  It seems like this product is no longer being manufactured by Nexxus but it remains popular suggesting that perhaps it sells well with those who need to really get some damage done to their hair and only, in that case, is it profitable.  It’s a little expensive for regular shampoo, but not as expensive as the Aloe rid being sold by sites like Testclear.com  It’s worth giving this product a try.  If not, then you should do the Macujo method with another detox shampoo with positive reviews like Ultra Clean by Zydot.  Testing methods for hair follicle tests may detect drug use in the 90 day period leading up to the test so if you’ve smoked in recent months and have a test coming up, it would be wise to take some kind of detox approach.  With that said, you need to consider the risks involved and ask to what extent, if at all, you’re willing to risk damage to your hair and scalp. Be smart, do your research, and best of luck!
